these terms govern the use of euno, a reflective journaling app with a wellbeing layer. by creating an account or using euno, you accept these terms. if you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. who can use euno

you must be over 18 to use euno. by using the app, you state that you meet that requirement and that the information you give us is true. euno is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

2. your account

you need an account to use euno. you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the activity that happens on your account. let us know promptly if you notice unauthorized use. you can close your account whenever you want, from the app.

3. use of the service

you may use euno only for personal purposes permitted by these terms and by applicable law. you agree not to:

  • use the app for illegal or abusive activities, or ones that harm others;
  • attempt to access our systems or other people’s accounts without authorization;
  • interfere with the operation of the service, overload it, or evade its limits;
  • reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service except where the law allows it.

4. your content is yours

the entries you write or dictate, and everything you generate inside euno, are yours. you keep every right over that content. you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license, solely to store, process, and show you your own content and to provide the service (for example, transcribing your voice or generating a reflection on what you wrote).

we do not use the content of your entries to train artificial intelligence models, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes. the detail of how we treat your data is in the privacy policy.

5. how artificial intelligence works in euno

euno uses third-party artificial intelligence models to transcribe your voice and to hand back observations about what you write. these observations are indicative and automatically generated: they can be imprecise, incomplete, or wrong. they are not professional advice and you should not make important decisions based on them alone.

6. euno is not therapy, nor an emergency service

euno is not therapy, nor treatment, and it does not replace care from a health professional. it is a space to write and to hear yourself. it does not diagnose, does not treat, and does not handle emergencies.

if you are going through a hard time or you are thinking of hurting yourself, seek help immediately: reach out to someone you trust, to a mental health professional, or to a helpline in your country. in an emergency, call your local emergency number.

euno includes a feature that tries to detect signs of crisis in order to show you support resources. that feature is a support, not a guarantee: it may not detect every situation and it does not substitute for an emergency service or for a professional’s intervention.

7. subscriptions, payments, and refunds

euno offers a free starter plan and a paid full plan by subscription. subscriptions are purchased and billed through the corresponding app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), under their terms and at the prices shown in the app at the time of purchase.

  • subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the current period.
  • you can cancel at any time from your account settings in the store; the cancellation applies at the end of the period already paid for.
  • if there is a free trial period, it turns into a paid one automatically unless you cancel before it ends.
  • refunds are governed by Apple’s or Google’s policies and by the consumer protection law applicable in your country.

8. privacy

your privacy is central to euno. audio is deleted by default once it has been transcribed, and we do not sell your data. how we collect, use, and protect your information is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. euno’s intellectual property

the app, its design, its brand, its text, illustrations, and software are the property of euno or of those who license their use to us, and are protected by law. these terms do not transfer to you any right over euno’s brand or intellectual property, beyond the right to use the app described here.

10. changes and discontinuation of the service

we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service, in whole or in part, at any time. we may also suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. where reasonable, we will try to give you advance notice. if we shut the service down, you will be able to export your data as described in the privacy policy.

11. warranties

euno is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent the law permits. we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor that the results of the artificial intelligence will be accurate.

12. limitation of liability

to the maximum extent permitted by law, euno and those responsible for it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, nor for loss of data, arising from the use of or the inability to use the service. nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

13. indemnity

you agree to hold euno harmless against claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these terms or from your misuse of the service.

14. governing law

these terms are governed by whichever law applies, and they do not affect the rights you hold as a consumer in your country of residence.

15. changes to these terms

we may update these terms from time to time. if we make material changes, we will let you know inside the app or by another reasonable means. if you keep using euno after the update, you are understood to accept the new terms.
